Christmas Update

and my plans for the new year!
Back home after another busy term at the Angel Art Academy I am enjoying Christmas Holidays with my family and trying to restore my energy before returning to Florence to continue my studies. As always, the past term was a combination of hard work, disappointment, happiness, achievement, more hard work, more disappointment... but it was very worthwhile and I have learned a lot. I am currently working on a charcoal cast and live figure painting in monochrome oils (grisaille) which is quite fascinating.

Unfortunately the multiple school projects do not leave me enough time to fulfill my own projects like landscapes and city scapes of Florence, on the other hand recent weather has not been permitting any outdoor painting either so I will try to catch up on those subjects next spring or summer. In the meantime I will dedicate myself to figure and portrait drawing/painting and hopefully will learn more about it. I will do my best to keep you updated on my progress at the art school and the new works that I wll accomplish.

So Merry Christmas everyone and see you all my fans in 2011!
